Context

• Episode 347 exists at /srv/miadi/episodes/miadi-chronicle/2026-09-04-episode-347-a-threshold-role-in-a-research-network, registered on the chronicle wheel, with the inquiry artefact synced under inquiry/ (4 files, two of them inquiry documents: the 2026-08-24 posting read and the 2026-09-04 tooling and coordination-balance reference).
• The vessel carries no script.md, no chapter-NN-script.md, no status.md, and no attention.json. The chronicle room reads roles from filenames (app/chronicle/lib/episodeRoom.ts), so /chronicle/2026-09-04-episode-347-a-threshold-role-in-a-research-network renders "No script or narration files in this episode folder yet".
• The apply or do-not-apply decision is held on the parent issue's checklist. Nothing in the chronicle surfaces it to a human at a glance.

Desired State

• chapter-01-the-posting-read-script.md and chapter-02-tooling-and-coordination-balance-script.md exist in the vessel, each derived from its inquiry document and stamped with its source.
• status.md holds the one-look table: the three unknowns (supervisor, proportion of administrative work, authority over tools), each with its current answer or "unknown".
• attention.json holds one open item: the apply / do-not-apply question, what answering it unlocks (the cover letter or the recorded reason), and depth pointing to status.md and miadisabelle/Etuaptmumk-RSM#265. The item is projected on the wheel with a truthful .mw-attention.json receipt.
• The room at /chronicle/2026-09-04-episode-347-a-threshold-role-in-a-research-network renders both chapters and the open attention item.

Action Steps

• Write chapter-01-the-posting-read-script.md from the posting read, keeping the role facts, the application details, and the three unknowns.
• Write chapter-02-tooling-and-coordination-balance-script.md from the tooling reference: the minimal stack, the OCAP/CARE layer, the time-boxing pattern.
• Write status.md with the three unknowns and their state.
• Add the attention item with passages attention add and confirm the wheel serves it (passages attention list).
• Commit the named files in /srv/miadi/episodes, push, and open the room to verify it renders.

Structural Tension

The inquiry exists in two documents and on an issue, and the episode that holds them is a vessel that says nothing when opened. The work resolves that tension by giving the episode chapters, a status table, and the one decision a human is asked to make.
